In February 2011, Light Plan Inc organized the inaugural Philippine Lighting Conference, where they had invited some of the most established lighting designers in this regional of the world to present their ideas on lighting design practices and current trends in lighting design, whilst hosting a exhibition for manufacturers to take part for product showcase. The conference is envisioned to be one that focused on responsible lighting design, with a primary mission to link the local lighting industry together and create a theoretical and practical thinking platform of lighting standards in the Philippines.
